Manufactured using state of the art biotechnology Micro Pellets help your fish maintain brilliant colour all year round. The food contains red, green and yellow granules, each of which contains different indispensable nutrients for your fish. The red granules are of animal protein origin and contain high quality fish meal and well balanced amino acids together with excellent palatibility. The green granules are of plant protein origin and contain a high degree of plant matter and dietary fibre that helps maintain healthy growth rates. The yellow granules are comprised of vitamins and minerals. These help reduce stress and activate the immune system to fight disease. Hikari Micro Pellets are semi floating that are ideal for surface and mid water feeders. In addition the food will not cloud your aquarium water. Rich in stabilized vitamin C which promotes resistance to stress and helps boost the immunity system of the fish, making them more resistant to disease. The food is in a floating pellet format that will never cloud your water.

Contains premium quality select fish meal with a protein
and amino acid rich diet that promotes rapid growth and
organ development free from dietary deficiencies and
hence any possible dietary deformities.
The food is manufactured to ensure that the necessary
vitamins, nutrients and amino acids do not dissipate
ensuring your fry's survival.
An enhanced vitamin and mineral formulation helps the
newborn fish fry to develop excellent body form with
superior disease resistance and proper organ
development.
The food is of a semi floating variety that ensure
proper feeding habits with access to all types of fish
whilst reducing wastage.
For optimum results feed daily as often as possible as
much food as your fry will consume in two to three
minutes. Do not overfeed. Rather feed less food more
often - say 6 times a day as much food as the fish can
eat in one minute.
For mid water and bottom feeders: Soak Hikari First Bites
in a cup of water before feeding. This will allow the
food to sink more rapidly where the fry can gain ready
access to it.
For Live Bearers (Ovoviviparous): These fish can consume
Hikari First Bites immediately after birth.
For Egg Layers (Oviparous): The fish utilise a yolk sac
after birth. Start feeding Hikari First Bites before the
yolk sac is fully consumed.

Contains linolenic acid, proven to be of growth and health of guppies. It also promotes the natural breeding habits of guppies. Fancy guppy contains the right amount of linolenic acid to ensure the best of health of your pet whilst reducing the risk of deformities.
Also contains chitosan which is extracted from crustaceans and helps improve resistance to disease. Iodine extracted from seaweed is also added and this helps to improve strength and overall condition of your guppies.
The granules are one of the smallest yet developed by Hikari. They soften quickly but do not dissolve and the size allows guppies of all sizes to easily access the nutrition contained therein.

Made from high levels of the vegetable matter that Plecostomus and other algae eaters prefer eating. Through advanced manufacturing processes a unique disc for the food was developed that does not dissolve easily so allowing your 'pleco' to eat slowly at its leisure. The disc will also not cloud your aquarium water.
The disc is an easy and convenient way to feed bottom feeders of all sizes. Accept no substitutes!
When feeding algae wafer feed only as much as will be consumed in two hours! This is a little different to the normal 5 minute rule. Some tropical fish will resist a new type of food and when changing their diet continuing with the new food will ensure it's acceptance.
The wafers can also be broken down into smaller pieces suitable for feeding to other algae eating tropical or marine fish. Care should always be taken to ensure that no over feeding takes place and always remove uneaten food from the system after the feeding period is over.
